Aileen is the founder and managing partner of Ligot Dizon Law Firm, P.C. Aileen is admitted to practice before the: (1) State Courts of Texas; (2) United States Tax Court; (3) Executive Office for Immigration Review; (4) United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; (5) United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas; (6) United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas; (7) United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas; and (8) the Philippines.


Aileen obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, her Master of Education (M.Ed.) at the University of Houston-Victoria, and completed her Teacher Alternative Certification Program (ACP) at the University of Houston-Downtown. Additionally, Aileen has obtained her J.D. degree and Pre-Law degree at the University of the Cordilleras School of Law and the University of the Philippines Baguio, respectively. Moreover, Aileen is an alumna of Texas Opportunity & Justice Incubator, a flagship program of the State Bar of Texas aimed to bridge the gap between the citizens’ need for justice and for an innovative approach to legal access.


Before transitioning to a full-time practicing attorney in Texas, Aileen served as an educator in both the Houston Independent School District and Fort Bend Independent School District.


Aside from her legal profession, Aileen has held several positions in community organizations, such as the Immediate Past Chair of the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Texas – Greater Houston Region and a member of the Asian Chamber of Commerce - Houston. Aileen is also an active member of various professional organizations such as the Houston Bar Association, Asian American Bar Association of Houston, Texas Bar College, National Filipino American Lawyers Association, and the Texas Filipino American Bar. She is currently serving as the CEO of Lawin Media Network and myVATA Co. Aileen blends her passion for law, community service, and entrepreneurship.

She is currently serving as a member of the executive board of COFACC (Coalition of the Filipino American Chambers of Commerce). She concurrently holds the position of Legal Counsel and Regional Vice President (Lower Central Region) of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America. Aileen is also the current Legal Counsel of the Knights of Rizal Texas Area Foundation and the Women of Courage International. She is the First Vice-President of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in Texas – Houston.
